7,000th InfoMail brings GW Alert
The seven thousandth GW InfoMail was sent today introducing a new desktop based alert system. In the event of an emergency, a little red box pops up in the corner of your screen and explains the situation. However, the alert system snubs “the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels” by neglecting to develop the software for the Mac OS. This means when the flood of ‘08 is coming, the XP users will be heading for high ground while I’ll be using the Pop Art filter on Photo Booth. The announcement claims, “This system will only be used for actual incidents and infrequent tests.” Would the forty-five invitations to Knapp’s Inauguration count as separate incidents or just one?
This is a good idea in theory, but GW likes to destroy good ideas once they’re in practice.
Download the alert system here.

The Knapp Invitations should count for more than 45 incidents. Why? Three simple words. Hog Island Sheep.
