Caulk Those Borders!
Our new friend Ethan Rubin of My Phenomenon [URL is "myphenomenons," interesting dualism] sent us this link to this hilarious ad for some asshole named Tom Tancredo (pictured). Tancredo is apparently “bold enough to say it,” but “it” is more terrible and funny and fearmongery than anything I’ve seen in the past hour. Now, campaign ads are usually pretty funny, but this one is just plumb disjointed. My favorite part is the link at the bottom that says CLICK TO GO HOME…c’mon!
Wouldn’t it be nice if something were genuine?
My impulse is to write about this ad for a long period — to write more than anyone would have the time to read — but I’d rather hear what you guys think first: dialogue is more interesting than diatribe, no?
How do y’all feel about the current political clime?
How do y’all feel about this ad in particular?
How do y’all feel about the bord(isast)ers of this here US of A?
Check out Ethan’s blog, it’s still gestating, it’s not ziploc’d up in the top of the refrigerator. I mean it’s fresh. Isn’t that a prime condition for all of us? Isn’t it?

What we learned from this post:
-Tom Tancredo is fucking nuts.
-Our readers don’t want to talk politics.
-Any adult in a helmet looks ridiculous.
Anything else?
