Daily Colonial Wants You
Hey everyone, the Daily Colonial (the only GW news source to congratulate us for our US News & World Report recognition) just sent the following email on the English Major Listserv: “Are you interested in gaining professional experience in a flexible, fun environment? If so, The Daily Colonial is looking for you! GW’s daily student news source is currently seeking writers, photographers, web designers and marketers to join our staff for Spring 2008. If you’d like to learn more about campus/Washington life and want to see your work published, we have a place for you. Positions are open in all sections, including news, arts, style and sports. Journalism experience is a bonus but not required. Mostly we’re looking for people who are motivated, can think outside the box and work on deadline. Come learn more at our two info sessions - Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Marvin Center Amphitheater and Wed., Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Ivory Tower Common Room (past the couches in the lobby). And check us out at DailyColonial.com If you’re interested, attend! The Colonialist is not affiliated with The Daily Colonial, but we like them a whole lot more than the Hack Shit. -Kirk
