Six New Blips

The Hat Shed has responded to The Colonialist’s success as internet publication by introducing their new blogtastic bloggles.
That girl from Juno is shitting her pants.
We at the Colonialist are nonplussed — to say the most — by this nouveau tentative here on campus.
“Why?” the people ask, they ask, and ask.
Because their six new blogs: 2140 G, Newsroom, Backstage, Passports, Court Side, & In Other News are just rehashings of the material one can already find in The Hat Shed, so what’s the point? Is it really a good thing to have more of the same when people are dissatisfied?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we actually like what they start posting? Family! Harmony! Hats!
In the mean time — as a service to all y’all — we’ll read the new crop o’blogs, so you guys don’t have to. If anything interesting happens, we’ll be the first to let you know.
Fingers crossed.

2140 G = too masturbatory for me. “Get a glimpse into the inner workings of one of the best college newspapers in the nation”? Thanks but no thanks. And here I thought the G in 2140 G meant it’d be about the lives of 3 single girls in the big city, Apt 3-G style.

Hey hey hey—

let’s give Backstage a chance. It was literally JUST launched, and the information found there will be info that is NOT found in the paper–hence the Hatchet even having an Arts’ blog. It has yet to be determined if the student body will find it entertaining and/or helpful, but let’s keep an open mind here.

I am keeping an open mind!
I said I would read it, I’m just not plussed yet.
I closed on a positive!

if you ever need the nice Conservative/Libertarian viewpoint of the happenings of campus.

we are big fans of The Colonialist, btw.
