FindHeMan.com in Wired Magazine

Before The Colonialist was ever conceived of, [KIRK EDIT: all but one of] the writers of The Colonialist helped launch another blog last summer.  Kevin, Darren and I helped start a NYC comedy group called beast (which created beast. films).  This comedy group featured the three of us, former receSs member Emily Axford, and two members of SVA’s bleak! comedy Paul Briganti and Mike Antonucci.  Over the summer we created an urban tracking website in NYC surrounding the Union Square legend “He-Man.” It was called FindHeman.com.

The site got pretty big in NYC and was featured in The Village Voice and CNBC.  While we have been trying to stop promoting our own shit so much (except for the last receSs show of the year this Friday), we wanted to share this with you.  One of our favorite magazines, Wired, has an article about our website this week.

As we transition into the summer, we will continue to update The Colonialist, but also will be also working on FindHeMan.com as we move our blogging offices back to NYC for the summer.  [KIRK EDIT: I'm tired of being ignored.  I'm not going to NYC this summer, so only 75 percent of The Colonialist is going to leave the district.]

OMGWIRED!!!
