Have Your Phil!

As we brought The Colonialist into the second semester, I made the executive decision to stop running an internet comic strip called Phil. A lot of people assumed this was because of a large negative response to the comic, but this was not the case. I was forced to photoshop each strip to make it readable on the blog, as well as host the file myself. This was deemed too much work for a three-times weekly strip, and so I stopped doing it. The creators of Phil, however, took this as a challenge and spent the past two months working to put every single Phil online at HaveYourPhil.com. This includes the past semesters worth of strips we decided not to run, but were still published in UConn’s Daily Campus.
If you want to read all of the Phil you missed, start with January 28 and move forward from there. I find the strips a lot funnier if you read them all in one sitting.
And look out for special TALENT-FILLED episodes of Phil also drawn and written by Steve and Ben, like the one below:

Rest easy, Colonialist readers. Now you can Have Your Phil!
EDIT: One of the creators of Phil posted his favorite negative comments from The Colonialist on his personal blog. This can be found HERE.

Discontinuing Phil will go down as one of the wisest decisions in blogging history. It’s not funny at all!
