The Hills in Washington, DC?

Word on the street is that MTV is said to be testing out the waters and developing a Hills-like “reality” show based in Washington, D.C.

I can’t help but thinking rich GW students and G-scene will some how be involved. Here are some plot ideas:
- Will Spaulding’s Dad beat Trish’s Dad in that drama-bomb of a special election?
- What’s Mike Huckabee doing with Amber?
- What’s Ron Paul doing with Amber?
- What’s Ron Paul doing with Mike Huckabee?
- “Look, you are wrong Trent! I’m filibustering until you concede from this argument!”
- “We have so much money!”
- What’s Condi Rice doing with Amber?
Also my three guesses at the name of the show:
- The Beltway
- Cocaine!
- Harsh city-wide racial segregation

I think a GW version of The Hills would be just as bad as The Hills has always been. Is that not worth saying out loud?
I also think it’s great that Perez Hilton knows about G-Scene. And mentions it like everyone else outside GW does too.
I’m becoming increasingly cynical.
Don’t ask what G-Scene is, and also Perez only said whats in the indented. The rest is mine. Perez does not know G-Scene.
If they filmed anywhere outside of NW, a D.C. version of “The Hills” would probably resemble “The Wire”.
it’s not going to be GW… camera crews have been following around a bunch of rich snotty ’socialites’ in dc who don’t have real jobs and just spend their parents’ hard-earned money. at least on ‘the hills’, lc and heidi make an earnest attempt at having a job (or at least show up to an accredited business office for several takes in each episode). these dc girls go out every night, do coke until 7am, and throw high profile parties for charities that teach poor inner-city children how to play polo (yes, the kind on horseback).
I was at Rugby Cafe during one of these filmings. Based on what I saw, anonymous2’s description was pretty accurate. Imagine that kid that wore 2 popped polos in high school, drove daddy’s other Benz and did lines off the bathroom sink. Now multiply that kid by 200% and thats each of these people. And the service at Rugby was still awful.

It’s “in development” inasmuch as a few people want it to happen and are shopping it around.
This won’t happen.
It is sad how excited I am about this if it actually happens. I have never watched the hills but I can only imagine how good a GW version of it would be.
