Unconfirmed Finals Rumors
Just received a late night email claiming the following:
Word on the street is that they have officially stopped letting people into Gelman. The writer, as he composes this, is currently hunkering down in an anonymous office in the Marvin Center, hoping the disembodied voice of authority won’t come in and sweepingly kick him out. What has this University come to— I can’t study in the library!
Can anyone confirm this? Have they turned people away at Gelman?

Hi!
I just contacted Andrea Stewart, the Assistant University Librarian, who reassured me that the rumor is completely untrue!
Gelman library will remain open 24/7 like it has been all year. For the finals period this semester, the 1st floor will stay open 24/7 as well.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Andrea at astewart@gwu.edu or myself at vaswani@Gwu.edu.
Best,
Vishal Aswani
You have no idea. It was out of control, students were basically crying and FIGHTING to get in and they were turning us away. It was OUTRAGEOUS. It was like something from the summer of 1968 — just defending our rights peacefully with our books, but met with violence. I was near Jaco when UPD almost arrested him.
I had to study in Anniversary Park. Patrick Burgwinkle — you don’t know! You just DON’T KNOW!
Perhaps this was all a ploy to get less people to the library so I COULD FIND A SEAT FOR FUCKS SAKE.
But no, I really got that email. Sorry for the confusion everyone.
