Email Us!

Dear Anyone Involved in any Arts at GW,

I want to start making a periodic “State of the Arts” post.  This post will cover any current events and issues that are happening within any of the arts organizations at GW, as well as with anyone involved in the arts, but not involved in any sort of organization.  It will include important dates to remember, upcoming events, event previews, and reviews, and more.  However, in order to do this well, I need YOU, Anyone Involved in any Arts at GW, to email US, The Colonialist.  Tell us what you or your organization has been up to, tell us what you are about to be up to, and tell us all your thoughts.  If nothing else, let us plug your website/event/meeting/anything.  As this builds, we can contribute to the organization of the arts community here.

Thanks

Darren

acappellapalooza is saturday october 18 (parents weekend). all the same groups singing the same shitty songs, but this time for a good cause. bring your mom and dad!

For those of you who haven’t yet heard of The Link, we’re going to be *cross your fingers* creating a website in the very near future the goal of which will be to serve as an online database/blog/calendar where GW students can find out what is going on in DC and on campus musically, theatrically, artistically, culturally, literarily (apparently not a word), etc. Phew, try saying that in one breath. Sorry for the shameless pitch.

Basically, our mission is not to step on the toes of blogs like Colonialist, but to fuse all happenings of said nature into one space for all students to easily access. Ideally, we’d also like to set up some kind of forum on our website where student musicians can contact each other to form bands or just plan a time to jam together. We’re open to other great ideas, too.

I guess this was just a “coming soon” comment, but I’m sure we’ll get the Colonialist to make some sort of announcement once the actual website comes into existence. If you’re interested in getting involved before, during, or after that time, email us! thelinkgw@gmail.com

The title of the post is “Email Us,” not “Comment Here.”

Silly, folks!

thecolonialist@gmail.com : simple, easy.
