- Okay, but was I better in Not Another Teen Movie or Little Miss Sunshine? In one, I got to tell a girl I’d love it for her to take a dump on my chest after sex, and in the other, I barely spoke at all. Tough call, right?
- I’m so totally in a band called Mook that it’s not even funny.
- Seriously though, how awesome am I? Like, on a scale from 8 to 10. - A HUGE BUG IS ON THE WALL ABOVE MY COMPUTER! I took a picture with my cell phone. I’ll upload it here when I can. It’s pretty awesome. (EDIT: THE PHOTO ON MY PHONE IS HORRIBLE QUALITY. I’M PRETTY SURE IT’S A GIANT CENTIPEDE THOUGH. IT WAS LIKE THE PHOTO BELOW ONLY WITH MORE LEGS…AND LONGER LEGS…AND GENERALLY BIGGER)
- I’m pretty sure we skipped fall this year and we’re going straight from Summer to Winter. MAYBE we’ll get like a week or two of fall around thanksgiving or something, but that will probably be falsely perceived due to the increase in autumn-like imagery available to us on Thanksgiving. Here are a few examples:
- Turkeys. EVERYWHERE.
- Napkins with leaves on them
- Your dad’s brown sweater that’s especially coarse
- The temporary increase in popularity of burnt orange, rust, and sienna
- Fall-specific marketing campaigns from TV networks and large companies who planned marketing strategies before gaining knowledge of this year’s skipping of fall - I’ve recently seen a decrease in surveys I’ve been asked to fill out about how often I use facebook.

- What kind of a last name is Dano?
- Why have midterms been happening for the last like 4 weeks? Get it together, professors. Don’t you have some kind of big meeting before each semester to make sure you bombard us with work all at the same time?
- I just got a great image of all the professors at GW sitting around the biggest oval-shaped table EVER. The wood is thick, dark, and shiny though, so I’m pretty sure it’s not only huge, but also very well made.
- I would love to better relate to you, the reader. Introducing Darren’s Thought’s On-Demand! Throw out any topic (or even word) of your choice, and I’ll think about it next time I list my thoughts! WOW! Boy, I love thinking, and now, you can love me thinking too.

my thoughts? That dude in the “Darren’s Thoughts” picture doesn’t really look like Paul Dano, I think he looks more like B.J. Novak at the end of season three of the office when he looks into the camera and says to Kelly “We’re through”. I think that every time I read “Darren’s Thoughts”
also, what are your thoughts on Global Warming?
The picture is a centipede, yes. Centipedes vary in appearance based on where you are: at my home in Connecticut, they look exactly like the photo you posted, but here in DC, they’re slightly thinner, longer, and have some black stripes. Here’s a hint: if it’s just sitting there, it’s asleep (or doesn’t know you’re there), so it’s safe to squish it or whatever you like to do with bugs. Centipedes are generally ridiculously afraid of humans, so if it was awake/knew you were there, it would be running as fast as its eight thousand legs could carry it. I really wish I wasn’t so unfortunate to have seen enough of these disgusting things to know that much.
There Will Be Blood was terrible.
I wanna see the picture of the bug.
